Laotian Proverbs:
  • If you have money, you can talk; if you have wood, you can build your house
  • Water a stump and you get nothing; Speech is silver, silence is gold
  • Follow the old people to avoid the bite of a dog; It's easy to find friends who'll eat with you, but hard to find one who'll die with you
  • It's easy to bend a young twig, but hard to bend an old tree

Sabaiidee,

We are two Asian Americans that really really want to retrace our history, culture and language we came together on December 8th 2008.  Thanks to a great study abroad program to Laos hosted by the Center of Laos Studies in San Francisco.  We don't have much cash in the pocket so we are asking all friends, family, co-workers and individuals with extra $$ to please help our dreams a reality.  Hopefully with our experience we want to become "volunteer Laotian American liasions" to share our culture, heritage and history.

Please join our FUNraising journey to Laos....
